Little Redwoods School by JMPNS opened on September 2nd, 2025! This facility is independent of our West Sacramento location and is operated by Kid Ease Child Care Center in partnership with James Marshall Parent Nursery School. Kid Ease is a non-profit corporation founded and governed by volunteers with the sole purpose of providing affordable and quality child care at the CalEPA building at 1001 I St. in Sacramento. The Little Redwoods School operates as a parent cooperative similar to JMPNS offering full-time infant, toddler and preschool care!​

The Little Redwoods School is committed to a child-centered approach that is grounded in the principles of diversity, equity, family engagement, and community building. For the children in our care, this translates into a strong emphasis on fostering resilience, nurturing meaningful connections, encouraging a sense of responsibility, and promoting overall well-being. For families, we strive to foster a culture of transparency, safety, and integrity by maintaining open and collaborative communication.​
